The Glorious Burden! so far so good!

Alright lets clear a few things up for you foreign people who are concerned about this being over patriotic. The only songs that are patriotic are When the Eagle Cries and The Reckoning. Most of the rest have historical themes, but they are by no means patriotic in any sense. 2 of the best songs...

    Is Dimmu worth seeing?

Stormblast Glittertind Reptile Puritania Blood Hunger Doctrine The other problem was of course their terrible sound. Vortex needed to be louder and so did the keyboard.

The Glorious Burden! so far so good!

Hehe I loved all the things you said you hated. :) This is actually making more exciting about the album, because now I want to hear it in better quality.

The Glorious Burden! so far so good!

The only time I really noticed lower sound quality is when I listened to it with headphones. It really isn't that bad.

    Is Dimmu worth seeing?

Meh, they aren't that special live. Their setlist was pretty bad. Their new stuff really just wasn't that great live, and they didn't play the best songs off their new album. Kings of the Carnival Creation rocked, so I'd make sure to see that song, but other than that it was just mediocre.

Yes you can get ENGLs in the US. They're pretty cool amps.

    House of Blues: Chicago

I hate the House of Blues. Yes the sound is the best in Chicago, but there is no place to sit down, and it's waaaay too big for a metal concert.

    Favourite Bodom gig!

I don't own Something Wild, but from all the songs I've heard I'll go with: 1. Children of the Bodom 2. Towards Dead End 3. Sixpounder 4. Angels Don't Kill 5. Chokehold 6. Follow the Reaper 7. Downfall 8. You're Better Off Dead 9. Bodom Beach Terror 10. Lake Bodom Those are my favorites off...

    House of Blues: Chicago

I got in line a half hour before doors, and I got in well before Hypocrisy started.

    Chicago show

Hmm I would have liked to have seen Raabjorn. I dunno, I've just heard Spellbound and Mourning Palace so much they just don't seem that great anymore.

    Chicago show

Yes it is. The setlist isn't poor at all. Then again, COB has very few bad songs. But I loved every song they played. If you want a bad setlist see Nevermore.

    North American setlist

Replace Lake Bodom and Better Off Dead with Bodom Beach Terror and Chokehold, and you'd be correct.

    Chicago show

*Shake's Fist Angrily* Hopefully they'll do a headlining tour in the US soon, and just hit small clubs. No, I'm not going to the one at Pops. That's like a 4+ hour drive for me.
