This is for my own personal EP I've been working on these last few months/years. I've written it with programmed drums, and whilst I'm happy with that I'd much rather have real drums. Its a little different, very 90s centric groovy hard rock/metal. Think Kings X meets Pantera, Alice in Chains...

I've got a Marshall 1960A which has a blend of V30s and T75s (x-pattern). The tried and tested 57 + V30 is great with this thing, check out anything on my youtube channel and it's pretty much ALL that combo. I tend to neglect the T75s though because they just don't work for me, but in the room...

This thing is hilariously small, and barely has enough oomph to push my 4x12 :lol: But here it is anyway, it doesn't sound/feel that bad to be honest, would make a great little practice amp at home with a 2x12.

... is outstanding. It's the sort of tone that makes the guitars sound enormous (though the guitar tone is already great) To my ears it sounds like heavy use of DI, with some grit in the top end coming from a distorted track, and MAYBE an amped track lower in the mix. Anybody concur or got...
