I'm back in love with my Marshalls. Demos of 6100 and 8100

I got a great deal on one of these used so threw it on the recto cab to se how it would sound. I really like it. Clarity of a condenser but super cardioid for tight sound. Missing the high mid presence dynamic mics have which can be good or bad =]

Mic pres for guitar. I did a test today with API, Neve, LA610, ISA828 and Saffire Pro 24. Make sure to download the Wav files in the youtube description and line them up on separate tracks so you can quickly flick between them.

Testing reamping with Littlabs Redeye 3D Phantom, Palmer Daccapo and reamp out of Apogee Ensemble Thunderbolt. Reamp out to TS808 to 6505 to SM57 to neve. HQ Wav link in YT description

I have got 2 vintage Shure Unidyne 545 mics in the last couple of days. I really like them. They sound more open than a 57 and combine brilliantly with 57 for massive sound =]
