It'll be fine. Like pretty much every cab paired with a 4 Pro (unless you're running more than one 8x10) just watch the volume.

I feel like the real difference between DI boxes and straight through an interface is more so impedance matching rather than a drastic tone difference (even though that's still noticeable in some cases).

Corners, first reflections, directly behind you, sometimes directly in front of you. Ideally every part of the walls but in the center of the room probably won't do much.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. If you're augmenting samples stuff like that will still keep it sounding organic.

You've gotta keep in mind that the crackling audio might be because your CPU can't handle such low buffer settings I have the Saffire Pro 40. It's been running great for years, so I recommend anything from that line.

You could still probably get away with FireWire if you want. For my desktop/laptop PC I just bought a FireWire card. For the new macs they have lightning adaptors.

A treated room usually makes any monitors sound better. However, no treatment can make the best monitors in the world sound like crap.

I bought some really thick posterboard. Super glued old CDs to the back of the auralex, then duct taped them to the posterboard. I was able to screw some hangers on the side, get some wire, and now it's like a picture frame.

I have the Yamaha HS-50M and matching sub in a treated room and it does me well. I'm sure the newer HS series would work in your situation/budget.

I feel like the subscription should cost a little bit more for this to be completely fair. That way the people who actually bought the full plugin would be getting the best bang for your buck and not the other way around. Just a warning, I bought one from someone on here and it was fake haha. I took pictures and explained to him why it was fake and he was super cool about it. Gave me a full refund and just told me to keep it. Make sure you get pictures of as many angles as you can.
