Ok yesterday a friend of mine measured the "frame" for me..... it's 35mm, also with a very thick tolex it's not 19mm (3/4"). Now the question is....are al the 4 panels 35mm (or 33 without tolex) thick or they are 35mm only externally? The 90% of the cabs are way thicker on the front frame but...

Pretty lame someone can call this "an evolution"..I've a little mac pro but I have to use the space I save with cable and external periferies..

Usually the "center line" theory works good but sometimes (your case) I use a spot micing technique: mics closer to the cymbals, at the same height and forget about the snare. You will hard filter your oh's with the eq so the snare should not be a problem in any case

Question: when you wanna profile an amp, is it better to set everything flat on the amp? Or do you profile the exact amp setting you wanna use on the record (for ex., with the possibility to tweak also in the amp)? Another one: when you refine the profiled sound playing the guitar, different...

I'm very interested about the approach they use during the recording... I mean, they initially try a real setup and when they find the right one, they profile it....or they try immediately all the kemper preset they already did to find a good one?

Does Trigger 2 overwrite Trigger 1 on your plugin list? Or they are 2 different plugins?

So...it seems that lot of big producers (Colin, Andy, Michael Wagener but also Audiohammer, Lasse,etc...) now use Kemper to record guitars, BUT...how is the procedure? I mean...they find the right setup, they profile everything and they record the profiled signal? If so, I can't get the...

It's another idea...the 4 speakers mode is cool to take samples of how the cab sound with the different configuration available, but maybe unusable live :\

I've this idea of building custom cabs and I'm actually thinking how to do the prototype. What do you think is better? Build a cab with 4 speakers of the same type (v30's, greenbacks,etc...) or a cab with 4 different speakers? The first one should be good to test in a live situation but the...

T75's fit awesome in a mix without too much eq. The problem here is that they sound not that good in a OS cab (they become way more hollow). They still sound awesome in a marshall cab.

Could you tell at which position every color corresponds?

Blackouts are cool if you have a "light" guitar. I've tried them on a mahogany schecter and the sound was awfull... bassy and not defined at all. I've also reamped some Blackout DI's and they suck so much.
