New King Diamond...

KD's new album is out sometime soon. All the interviews I've seen he's been pretty positive about it, saying what a good CD it is and how he thinks it's the best the band have done (which is, to be fair, pretty much obligatory, but still).

Thoughts?

It took me a while to appreciate the Puppet master, but that was a solid album, so I'm hopeful this one will be as well. The isn't so great, however (Gimme Your Soul... Please?), and the art doesn't really deliver either IMO, compared to some of the great stuff KD has had in the past.

I heard this track about a week or so ago, and I found it to be pretty strong, I think it has a very strong flow. I hope this album is more consistent than Puppet Master though.

This song, "Neverending Hill", is great. The guitar work is outstanding. I cannot believe this song is just the fluffer, and I have to wait until July before I can shoot my load.

Well going by what they did with the last album, posting Blood To Walk, I would imagine that this is going to be the staple 'later day KD fast paced trademark song.' Not that that's a bad thing. I quite like the song as well.

Puppet Master is in the top 5 KD albums ever, so I've got high hopes with this one.
