thanks for the advice guys, I've gotten a lot better at it since posting this thread. Haven't been able to bring myself to drilling a hole in to the beast that is the Loomis 7 :p but I'm still keeping that in mind. I just had a long play around with the strap and finding a position to stand...

Hi Mr Broderick and guys on the forum, I, like a lot of guitarists, practise guitar while standing up waaaaay less than I should! I've realized I have to be sitting down to play the more difficult solos that I've learned and I just had a massive freak out like "oh man, how the hell am i ever...

what do you mean by feel..? you want more vibrato? more "out-there" bends?? ... i think he totally nails the solos, he plays them better live than marty did!! no matter how good you get there are always gonna be critics it seems... *face palm (mute)*

hey, I did the same thing myself!! Not really possible to play pinch harmonics properly when using it. Not sure if you know this but Chris actually designed a pick clip where you can attach/detach/reattach any pick you want in any position (giggidy) that you want. And I'm pretty sure it allows...

had a quick search on youtube, pretty much perfect to me! plus if you notice, they up the tempo live as well

hes not unable to... its a hard solo no matter how good you are, particularly the change between tapping and sweeping near the end; playing something in your bedroom on the thousandth try (which is what i do haha!) is one thing... playing something 100% perfect on stage in front of thousands of...

Anyone know any tricks to learning it/ the best way to practice it?? ive always been so amazed by how Mustaine sings and plays the guitar parts at the same time, particularly the first 4 albums. I can sing the parts, i can play the rhythms (most), but has anyone got any advice on combining them?
