I had an opportunity to compare a couple of Music Man Petrucci guitars. Despite wood, pickups and construction differences, in my opinion they all share the same core tone and feel, I personally dig regular JP XI without any bells and whistles, but I'm sure, opinions will be all over the place.

There are couple videos on youtube comparing these two amps, I didn't like the way they sounded so I decided to record my own. Both amps recorded exactly the same way, with volume that I would typically use when playing with band.
