This weekend I picked up what seems to be a riviera TBR1 rackmount amplifier, and so far I am well impressed! The clean channel is fantastic, and even though the lead doesn't have enough gain for my tastes, it is still very nice, and with an overdrive pedal will sound supreme I expect :) , oh...

How much do you maintain your own gear? At which point will you get someone else to fix it? I won't touch amplifiers betond fixing the odd potentiometer, but will happily fix and resolder my cables rewire my guitars and do my own guitar setup/maintenance(replacing worn out Hardware etc)...
