I actually love FB, MS is just littered with adds and self promo, so bad that I cringe each time I open up my inbox, therefore I dont go there much these days.

I don't use either site for socialization. Only have accounts because it's a pain in the arse to find out about events in general without 'em.

Show/even listings ruined myspace imho. I fucking hate having 6,000,000,000 fucking event reminders in my inbox everytime i log in grrrr.

My Space is a huge pain in the ass these days. They are trying to be like Facebook since Facebook has been kicking their asses. I think what could help them is having their own identity once again.

Yeah. I'm fairly lucky in that regard. There was one band who used to send out the event reminders as messages in my list. Last couple, found out via bulletins. Guessing someone told them that even if they were using a site feature, it came across as spam. and ultimately irritated people.
