first time seeing them last night in Cleveland and they were absolutely outstanding!

I really enjoyed Powerslave when it was first released. Over time I'd say it's my third or fourth favorite Maiden album. Derek Riggs' cover work is unbelievable. Anyone have the LP? If you look closely at the carvings, you'll see a few funny ones like "Indiana Jones was Here". Aces High...

Saxon and Priest? If that happens, I'll literally be moved to tears. I'm still a bit salty from their last attempt to come to Cleveland falling short due to the visa problems, but a Saxon / Priest tour would more than make up for it. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that it happens!

what's up with that logo? did they officially change it or is this just an artist's rendition? big mistake if they change it... the double battle-axe "S" standard is unmistakably Saxon.

One of the best metal albums of all-time. Revelations, Flight of Icarus and The Trooper are some of my favorite songs ever. The weak links are Still Life (one of Dave Murray's first attempts at writing, I think) and Quest for Fire with a few less-than-stellar screams by Bruce.
