Out of IF last 15 years, 5 albums and 2 EPs I could probably compile a good 10-12 song album. And even that would not be as good as any of THE albums. Quite sad actually.

Quite a positive surprise, this one. Didn't expect much, but this might be on level and in some elements better than the first one. The only thing that bothers me is the guitar sound. Even when they have some Whoracle style stuff playing, it never really sounds agressive and epic.

Out of new batch of songs, I like Cruel Perception the most. Flows naturally, cool if unremarkable melodies and a really nice and catchy (but not cheesy) chorus. That being said... Not sure I like where THE is going. - production is too polished and weak. I don't know why modern metal bands...

Nice change of pace. This is like... Melodeath band actually doing some DM instrumentation. Unheard of.

Meh, pleasant but very generic. Mostly impressed by the number of songs Stanne managed to write with "I don't want to" lyrics.

Vanhala is a too happy sounding guitarist for a gothic band. Anyway, glad to see so much stuff happening except, you know, that "early 2024" release of the new THE album. 😁

Tastes are different. But to me, these two are way worse than anything on the first album. Yes, if they were released as a special release bonus songs, I wouldn't mind that much. Still, not a good material, but not that important. However, these two are singles leading to the next album...
