basicly yeah we're a symphonic band without a keys player, because we use real orchestral samples and other cool shit so we use a laptop live with a studio interface, it sends a click to our drummer and a backing track to the PA system. for this song we found the original dimmu orchestral...

my tip would be... dont inhale... its what silly bands do, and its mega quiet which means you have to turn your mic up really loud so all your vocals will be quiet and you'll just be another "spit whispering" kid. listen to bloodbath, do those vocals sound quiet to you? nope proper...

thanks dude, our future plan is to get the arrangements really awesome, like film-score quality. As for production, i've had alot of positive stuff back so far considering its a home recording. But thats something we hope to improve on also. :) cheers

hey dude i use the sansamp www.myspace.com/xerath and funnily enough i use it with ALL the knobs on about 12 o clock :) and the sound is'nt TOO messed with after its played in

its definately a loud mix, but sounds like its being pushed a bit too hard... if your using a limiter try bringing it down a notch i know its always cool to have the loudest mix but trust me you can go quieter than that and still be louder than everyone else :) -andy www.myspace.com/xerath
