In regards to the guitar tone I guess as always it's just a taste thing. Hearing lot's of good things about it as well. Case in point though is the drums. They are of course not for everyone. There are plenty of options out there these days. There are simply another.

Hi, Thanks for the input. There is no compression on the mix bus. What your hearing is the compression on the mastering which admittedly I am not that great at. The mix is a lot cleaner. Gonna have to work harder at getting the volume on the mastering without killing the mix.

Great work as usual Romesh, meant no disrespect. Just Uber impressed you manage to dial in a full snare like that in without sampling the room mics.

Sampled. Come on guys, There is no way you can get a room sound to be that clear on just the snare and not have the cymbals screaming loud let alone all the other instruments in the room. It's a really nice sound but it's sampled. I suspect he is talking about getting that sound out of the room...
