That'd be me too, I just need a guitar to mess around with. this epiphone les paul special 2 is looking pretty tempting too. i think i might go to a guitar shop like someone on here said and try some out though.

next album= 5 mellotrons. no guitars, drums, bass, or anything else. only mellotrons and mike's vocals. make it brutal. pure brutality.

can anyone recommend a good guitar for a beginner-to-moderate player. I'm looking for one on the lower end of the price range. what should I expect to pay for a guitar? the last one I bought lasted a good while, and was cheap (like 150 or something), but truthfully it had too many...
