The first solo in Not My Funeral is also played by Roope. Also in Halo Of Blood the solo goes Roope -> Alexi -> both together -> Alexi.

I use Alexi's signature DR strings in 10-56 for drop-C/drop-B and 11-50 for D-standard.

At least on Musamaailma's site some of the prices actually went down about the cost of the hard case. I paid roughly 1750€ for my AL-166 Pink Sawtooth which came with the hard ESP case back in late 2020. Currently it sits at 1659€ with the soft case. The price of the Scythe-model went up by 200€...

Yeah the prices are hitting E-II SV/old ESP SV levels now. I still ended up ordering one to fill in the void in my heart left by my ex-RV350AL.

Oh these are pretty cool. I've had one just like this and an Edwards RV-138. I'm not a big fan of dot inlays so that's why I got rid of my KRV. The 138 I sold because at the time I wanted to try a Jackson Rhoads and I ended up buying a RR24M.

I had one in a RR24M a few years ago. The guitar tech who installed it and a JE-1000 clone said the pickup doesn't fit in the stock pickup ring with the cover on. It seems that Jackson had their own pickup rings for their old pickups, but someone else can correct me if I'm wrong.

It was Ruokangas Guitars in Finland who did the fretwork. Alexi's old guitar tech Antti mentioned this in a gear interview. Antti showing and talking about Alexi's and Roope's guitars between 5:00-8:00 in this video.

Nah it's not that one. His first Scythe model didn't have his signature on the headstock and the one with the sanded neck does. It was probably the one he could be seen playing at Tuska 2003, Wacken 2004, Stockholm Knokcout 2006 etc.

If they release a purple one with white pinstripes I'm interested even if it is an LTD. Otherwise I'll probably pass. EDIT: If they make some special finishes with album cover themes like the Slayer-ones they did some years ago or something like Ale's HCDR custom shop, they'll get my atttention.
