I think it would be awesome of SX wrote a song titled "Deus Ex Machina" on their next record because it fits the comedy tragedy theme on many of their albums.

Lets hope that SX doesn't become MEtallica and release 3 pop albums in the next 10 years :) But we all know that unlike Metallica SX are not going to change.

I already knew about that, but I'm still is high school, and that's WAY too far to drive :). I meant more like DC or better yet in MD itself. I would seriously KILL to make this happen.

Can any of the gtr players on this forum help me out? I've achieved the gtr tones on all the previous albums before PL, but I want to know whether the gtr sound on the album is ann actual tone, or just incredibly compressed. Thnks

I think the song structure is just so much more prog than anything on the damnation game. This song showed off the composition skills of SX before they wrote DWOT (their best album to date) and gave us a taste of what was to come. Still, I find it strange that almost all song on DG are less than...

I've heard the Edge of Sanity before, and I think it's one of the best 40 min songs, but I still think matt scream better.
