I did an instrumental mix (I realized I forgot the drone guitar) Using the amped stems and samples you used. It's the first time I mixed my own drums. I usually use Ezdrummer. So idk how good it is. I tried to keep the guitar tone pretty raw, to give it that crude feeling

I use Ezdrummer so my opinion should be taken with a grain of salt I guess. But I make my default Ezdrum samples to sound as real as possible. I'll go in by hand and make the velocities softer for certain accents like a real drummer would. I then take that midi and put it with a sample kick...

Definitely not true man. I've been using the Jazz III ever since it came in. At first it was difficult but it's been forcing me to play tighter and better. I can already see improvement. I was able to play 16th notes at 250 BPM without too much effort, not that I'm trying to be a speed machine...
