    UltimateMetal.com Acquired By MetalAges.com

Been ages since I've been around (been ill, busy and totally out of the groove... whatever that's supposed to mean lol). Since I've been here from quite some time ago (including previous account), I think it's fair enough for me to say - "Wow!". When I used to post (a long time back), it wasn't...

I put 'Temple of Fire' on my audio player some time back, and I thought to myself: "Wow, this is great!" :Spin: I really want to listen to more PowerQuest (And nope, couldn't find any CDs here). Are there any more free songs I can download? Anyway, just wanted to come on and say I really...

Bands that kicked your ass the first time you heard them

Things that got me to turn on "repeat" in Winamp... Gamma Ray (Heal Me) Tad Morose (Anubis) Nightwish (Stargazers) Blind Guardian (Theater of Pain) Mob Rules (Hallowed be thy Name) ... there are others too, but with these, there was just no not noticing.

i just found out about tad morose...

I know the feeling ;) When I first heard Tad Morose, it was at first "Interesting..." and when I got to listening to it a couple of times, I really started drawing inspiration. Fedora Core 2

Ah, that's one negative vote for it. But just what I didn't want - heavy OS. As long as there are good fonts and the X looks smoooth, I don't care about eye candy (Transparency, super-glossed icons...). Anyway, anyone else have to say anything on FC2?

    Fedora Core 2

Has anyone tried it? How is it? I was thinking of installing FC2 in my PC and wanted to know your experiences with it. At the moment I run Mandrake 8.2 (it's really old... the OS and the PC!). FC2 could be good for my other (better) computer. Basically, I want to be able to develop PHP apps...
