Sure is! :) Not used on anything remotely metal sounding, but we tried it on a variety of instruments.

Yep works solidly here too. I find when using it in parallel on bass where there's a lot of low end, and you're compressing a lot it tends to distort rather easily, so you have to be careful, but otherwise it works great!

We have it at the studio. I think the limiter is really good (though not my first choice), but my favourite new features are the Vintage EQ and Tape modules. Still love the MS Saturation. I wish they'd brought back the reverb though. That was pretty useful on occasion.

I've just given up on Pro Tools (though I'm keeping my versions of 10 and 11), and I've switched over to Cubase with the crossgrade deal they're offering. Steinberg seem to be pretty on point recently

Hey that's where I work! :) We had the Reface prototypes a good while before release, and I have to say they're super impressive. I wasn't that into them until I actually tried one. I would strongly advise giving them a go.

I've had the 440s for about 5-6 years and I really like them. I find that when I do have to mix on them, it usually translates pretty well. That said, I'm very used to them. The only problem I've found with them is that they get uncomfortable after a while, but that forces me to take breaks...
