man, the whole album is just amazing. my favorite song from it depends on the mood i'm in i guess. the absolute only, only part i don't like is the end of serenity painted death. i know it ends like that on purpose, but i don't think it sounds that good.

what did they do exactly? and legal issues? i have a few of your tabs that i downloaded awhile back...thanks for those. power tab (and its community) is awesome.

yeah, remember the days when we all celebrated even having a band like opeth play a show in the states? in flames, dark tranquillity, opeth...getting them for even one tour in the states was tough, and even then, they'd be the opening band with about 30 minutes alotted to their set.

i dunno, they're pretty different styles. i kinda went this way: metallica -> megadeth -> ...few years of thinking metal has become terrible and boring -> in flames -> dark tranquillity -> opeth

opeth - still life is the closest to a masterpiece IMO. the absolute only thing i don't like about it is when serenity painted death cuts off before finishing the full measure. yes, i know it's supposed to be like that, but to me it really interrupts the flow of the transition to white cluster.

i got into them right before still life came out. everyone was raving about opeth at that time, and i'd liked what i'd heard (clips from orchid / morningrise) so i bought both of those cds. at this time, still life was out in europe, but not in the states...i finally bit the bullet and paid...

definitely a great cd. i'm with everyone else, they don't sound like opeth. i think it's more like, if you like opeth then there's a good chance you'll like agalloch.

yeah the show was awesome. the sound setup was amazing...right on par with the very first time they played at the house of blues. i don't know if anyone remembers, but the 2 or 3 shows following that one had the worst sound i'd ever heard at any concert. good crowd...no dickwads. i wish the...

oh yeah, and it'll take you about 25 - 45 min. to get in from the cumberland stop.
