Hey fellas I was wondering where the best laptop deals I can get for under 1000? I will be using reaper and it needs to have usb 3.0 and a slot for a firewire chip. I have been looking into Asus but I'm up for suggestions.

Noise seems to be the biggest hinderance to acheiving a good tone with this head, I just thought I was through spending money :(

I've been looking around and all the mesa's I've found seem to have been used so much that they are in bad condition, which is a good sign they sound good, but I am weary about purchasing them. I am starting to lean towards the orange camp for the darker sound. The search continues!
