OP: You probably should try Studio One's Audio Bend (there's a free 30 days full version demo on their site). I've dealt multi-tracks drum editing with Cubase, Reaper, & Pro Tools. Using both slip edit & timestrecth algo. The easiest was using S1. There's no free lunch, though .. all good...

Wow, I'm glad I got it right. The difference is in the low end. A just sounded better. B & C (especially C) got these weird unpleasant resonance. The mids & the highs are remarkably close its scary. Also, if you cant figure this out, maybe its down to your monitoring. I got this difference...

When you pan reverb sends, you should know what the algorithm used by the reverb. There are true stereo, pararell & mono to stereo reverbs. Each give different response when they're panned.

IMHO, to get good sounding mixes are: 01. Get the mids right. You do the mids right, the lows & highs will fall to its own place. The NS10s are famous because of their mid frequency response, and that's because the meat (hence the money) is in the mids. As a general consequence, your mixes will...

Hi, I usually go to pararell processing, but recently I tried a different route. I bus my kick, snare bus, & tom bus and put UAD2 Fairchild on that drum bus. 1-2dB gain reduction usually is enough, because I already processed those individual tracks. I leave the overheads bus & room alone...

85dB is to loud for me to listen for hours. I sometimes go to 85dB when zooming in details, but I normally mix at 65dB - 70dB. That way, I don't have to shout to my clients when they're in the session. Plus, it's kind of a challenge, to make the mix sound 'big' in a small monitoring volume. But...
