    want a good laugh?

I still lurk every once in a while. I still like the band to an extent. Only thing is; the new singer is terrible. That and Rich seems to have forgotten how to write great riffs during the last 4 years. Shame, really.

Warrel, your record is very good

I disagree completely. Speed Strid is pretty damned good. It's just too bad that the band he's banking on went to shit. He needs to bring in the main guy from Disarmonia Mundi or just join that band altogether. Soilwork, as of right now, is a sinking ship.

Anyone ever try that Lamb of God producers edition cd?

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=1VHF568J ^ ^ Something i've been toying with the last 3 days or so. Probably gonna finish it within the month. I only kept the drums, bass, vox, and one guitar, everything else like the piano, sitar like thing, synths, etc. i had to write and put in. I also...

NEW song posted from Warrel Dane's "Praises To The War Machine"

I'll put this album up against any Nevermore record. It's stripped down and simplified, which is great because it really gives Warrel a chance to breathe vocally and dive into some really memorable melodies. I'll be picking this one up. I even told a couple friends about it who are now...

    George Carlin appreciation

nah. for me, it's like hearing rough demos of a new record from a band you're jonesing to hear. The special is gonna be awesome. Even in a completely rough form, it'd be a good show.

    George Carlin appreciation

His 2005 comedy special was hit or miss but understandable. 1 out of 80 billion ain't bad. I found a bootleg of a show he did a couple months back. Most of the material plus more will appear on his new HBO special "It's bad for ya" March 1st. Old-fuck's still got it.

Gigantour is gayer than a Elton John/Rob Halford/Freddie Mercury A cappella group...

I remember reading a lot of that too, back in 05. 1/2 of the dates were either poor or piss poor in attendence, and the other half were good to great turn-outs. Last year should've been good. Megadeth touring with Lamb of God and Opeth brought a lot of people in.

    About Warrel's voice

That's not nessessarly true. Mike Patton only had 1 singing lesson soon after he joined Faith No More. He said 1/2 hour into it, his instructor(a dude) hit on him and that was it. Genetics is a huge part of being a good singer, in my opinion. If they're shit, no amount of training will make...

Booking all that on Gigantour would lose them a huge amount of money. Make no mistake, all the bands you listed are great, but Megadeth touring the U.S. with that line-up would be a financial disaster. Even if they toured as a seperate package, it'd be in small clubs and such. This'll be...

Song mash-ups can be completely amazing sometimes

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yg9kEI4HEXg Coming as a fan of the 2 artists, this mashup is better than the originals.

When your throat and lungs feel like they're on fire from coughing, it'll be enough.
