    Heaven, quite a climb...

By now, I think everybody is aware of the tragic event that took place. It's a terrible shame that never should have happened, regardless of who has started. I fear the consequences, not only for the process of peace in the Middle East but also for the people who try to live their lifes the...

    Bootlegs?

The band is really peaking... Looking forward to their Belgian date!

!Shlomit Levi's (Orphaned Land's female singer) solo album AVAILABLE!

If any of you are still poundering over the question whether to buy her demo or not, rest assured. It's money well spent. It may not have that heavy, epic feel of Orphaned Land but it's very relaxed and it has a great and clever balance between modern age instruments (such electric guitars and a...

Fan site will report from the European tour

I'm sure it will be worth it. The fans of Orphaned Land seem pretty cool and will appreciate Yannick and you touring with the band. And let's not forget possibly new fans stopping by for an album or a shirt.

!Shlomit Levi's (Orphaned Land's female singer) solo album AVAILABLE!

Her version of "Cheek to Cheek" is great. I like how she holds back for that jazzy approach. And the other songs are pretty awesome too. :)

Bands like Orphaned Land (oriental metal etc.)

Funny, I didn't know you could understand Dutch. Kerel, wat een verrassing. Anyway, I'm very curious about the article. Could you perhaps send or post the links please? Heel erg bedankt.

    Orwarrior Tour

Enjoy the show. I've to wait until august to see them in Belgium.

Great religion-related/new age/political movies really worth watching.

Speaking of self expression... May I as how you, the board members, feel about the latest South Park episode, "200", and how the team behind it rips on the controversy surrounding the depiction of the Prophet Muhammed? I've heard that some people take great offense in it but I would like to know...

Your impressions about The Never Ending Way Of ORwarriOR.

Hehe, I do the same thing. When friends come over, I tell them I've got something they must hear.

Bands like Orphaned Land (oriental metal etc.)

Wow, i've been following this topic for quite some time and I feel like an idiot. I'm amazed by the talent and determination all those bands display. I had no idea of what was going on in the Middle East and Arab world. Myrath and Ahoora are added to my "to look for in the record store"-list.

US tour with Katatonia and Swallow The Sun!!!

Wow, that's a pretty solid package. Great bands and altough they sound very different from each other, I can imagine they draw a pretty similar crowd.

Your Top-5 favorite songs by Orphaned Land [new visitors are especially welcome!]

Having only heard "Mabool" and "The Never Ending Way of ORwarriOR", it's perhaps a bit too early for me. The fact that the ORwarriOR album is constructed as a story doesn't help much either with cherry picking songs. It would feel like breaking a chain. Oh well... "Sapari"...

    Bootlegs?

Two hours? Oh my. Did they play the entire new album? Guess I won't have my answer 'til I see the setlist?

Your impressions about The Never Ending Way Of ORwarriOR.

Thanks for the kind words, Morticia, or should I say "heel erg bedankt"? The few topics that I have browsed , all went very civilised. Even the Metallica one. There was no shouting or calling names. I've found no childish argues or quarrels. Just very mature people who provide interesting...

Disciples Of Sacred Oath II - the tab!

Oh my, Sharon624, you've put a lot effort in it. Well done. There are some parts in particular time signatures that I'm not really familiar with such as 22/8. Are they typical for Middle Eastern/Arabic music? And how do you count that of? I'm most comfortable with regular 4/4 but I know my way...
