I wouldn't characterize me as closed minded, but i don't think female lyrics would fit to opeth. Mikael's clean voice is good enough (*understatement*). Mikael is right, "female vocals" is bulk today.

I am there like every year. And Opeth makes it awesome! The trip is not a problem. 900 km from Munich to Hamburg. A walk if you drive by car;)

Yeah, i also think that evil's coming out of the strings. Inevitable if you play acoustic intruments, I think.

Hard question. I must decide between Mornigrise and Still Life. With Morningrise, I started hearing Opeth, and I think it's the most complex one. But Still Life got this feeling:)... Then, directly behind come the other three. But what can one say if all five are god? Kneel down and listen ;)

Cynic are one of my favorite bands. It's unbelievable, how the put techinque and songwriting together. "Focus" is in the top ten of my all-time favorite CDs :cool:
