lets see. i listen to so many bnads i cant name them, so lets look in my stereo to see what 6 band's cds are in there: Necrophagist, Slayer, DevilDriver, As Blood Runs Black, Watain, and Dimmu Borgir. There you go.
try sweeping REALLY FUCKING SLOW over and over again. then, once youve got it down flat, speed it up. it sounds time consuming because it IS. but trust me, once you can sweep faster than a motherfucker, you'll be glad u practiced.
well, as far as practicing goes, i've been playing for 19 years and i still practice for around 4 hours a day. so its watever u feel is neccessary and fits your style.
i have just started building my fourth custom guitar and i need some custom paint job ideas. the guitar as a whole will resemble a jackson rhoads. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
my first guitar was like a squier strat. i got it for my birthday when i was 9 and played it until i was 13. by then i had found out that you can't sweep pick on that piece of shit so i saved up and bought a jackson dk2m dinky and i loved it. i took my old strat and smashed it in my drive way.
