NEED - Hegaiamas: a song for freedom

I was expecting a bigger buzz among the PP USA community, as people here recognized (and later on witnessed on stage) the value of this band even from the previous album. "Hegaiamas" is a different kind of animal, but surely a step up for the band in many places. A brilliant album.- Even better...

    Angra - Secret Garden

Then, I guess we don't have to listen to music in the same way. I explain the reasons behind the things I don't really like on the album. I'm not forcing my opinion to anyone. I haven't stopped listening to this band for 18-19 years. If I can claim that they have been something unique and...

    Angra - Secret Garden

I've put my 2 cents here in case anyone cares. I'll try to be more specific in some things that I consider to hold the album back. - "Black Hearted Soul": It's a good song, but a totally recipe based one. I can sing parts from "Spread Your Fire" or "Nova Era" here and there. That's...

Angra's NEW SONG and Album Details

I haven't stopped following this band since Christmas of 1995, when I bought the "Angels Cry" CD, basically based on instinct and listening to a friend of friend talking about them. They've been one of my favorite bands of my youth and I still consider "Holy Land" among the best albums I've...

    Metal Song Of The Year?

I was coming to post this. The topic can be locked. :P

New Devin Townsend lyric video (from Z2)

I've been spinning the album for quite a while and I can tell it's a challenging one. Basically, it's two separate (and quite different) albums, one is in the vein of "Addicted!" / "Epicloud" and the other is the continuation of "Ziltoid" with narrative and stuff. There are moments of...

New Amaranthe Album "Massive Addictive" out Oct. 21

They set new standards for the term "pop metal" with their new album. Nothing's shocking no more in metal music, but they'll certainly could raise some discussion.

    ENCHANT: The Great Divide

Thank you. This is a fantastic album, no doubt about it. I think tomorrow is the official release date, so it won't be long till everybody gets to hear it. I really hope that more people will care about Enchant. They totally deserve to draw more attention and bigger audiences.

Dynazty: Renatus is my most played disc of the year

I can't share your enthusiasm here. Not that this a band album by any means and the quality is undeniable, but I find it hard to listen it from start to finish. I think it's a bit over-produced and doesn't leave me enough space to "breathe" a bit.

Need- Orvam: A song for Home (aka "a F*cking Amazing Disc")

If you go to the official youtube channel, the band has posted all the songs from "Orvam". In the description below you'll find the lyrics. Well, if it comes out in vinyl, then I guess a lyric sheet inside would be more than welcome (anybody listening?) Give the boyz a big welcome there in...
