Where's the low-end? It sounds like the mix has a high pass on it. And don't expect any serious guitar tone advice without a bass in there. Bass is half the guitar tone.

Where's the low end? :goggly: Shogger has some great advice, the only thing I'd add is when you start getting the mix really nice and thick, look into parallel compression so the bass and kick don't have to compete for sub-space.

The kick is a bit over powering, but I like it and think it works pretty well in the mix. Sounds good overall.

What clipper/limiter/compressor are you using? and have you checked out Event Horizon? It's by Stillwell, so it's pretty cheap, but really smooth sounding.
