    How do you listen to........

I actually prefer distracting myself on first listen, that way I can subconsciously grow an affection towards the album. I'll browse the internet or play a video game or cook dinner. Then, on second listen, I wait until night, pop the CD on my surround sound stereo, smoke a BLUNT (the more...

    The Lotus Eater

It's a very mediocre song. Kind of messy and sloppy at times. Probably the weakest on Watershed. Still, I love how frantic the keyboards get around the 6 minute mark and has a very epic sound. I personally prefer "Porcelain Heart" by a long shot.

    Summer Slaughter Tour

I just don't like Beneath the Massacre because they're part of this sceny grindcore-wannabe bullshit. And they're unoriginal. Necrophagist is just psuedo-technical death metal with no emotion and zero skill in the soloing department. That's my take.

Ion Dissonance - Minus the Herd

The new vocalist is pure shit, sounds like every other metalcore frontman. Thankfully, the intense riffage saves it from being completely boring. Less technicality too, which is a shame. 5.5/10

    A Perfect Circle reunion?

I'm a little aged, so please don't accuse me of how old I am. Pre-teen? And you bet your fucking ass I would say that someone, if they rubbed me the wrong way.

    Summer Slaughter Tour

Get rid of Beneath the Massacre and Negrophagist. Then I'll consider going.

    Pelican - City of Echoes

It's okay. Sounds more similar to Explosions in the Sky. Almost no sludge or noisy atmospherics, just really powerful instrumental indie rock. Which isn't bad, it's just different for them. There's plenty of emotional build-up in the songs, but something is missing. I feel like I'm hearing...

    contraversial musical opinions

Acid Bath is amazing. Smoke few joints, blast When the Kite String Pops, then get back to me.

    Behemoth v. Nile

Behemoth. Greater musicianship, lyrical content, and the songs flow together nicely. Nile puts me sleep. Some of their ten minute songs could easily shortened down to four or five, but they inject it with psuedo-oriental bullshit. I like them, they just seem extremely pretentious half the time.

    A Perfect Circle reunion?

I was just asking, because if you weren't so busy cramming your head up your ass, you might be able to appreciate music as it is. I don't think you understand how much I fucking loathe your approach to the mainstream. Not just you, but the others that share it. You remind of all those douche...

    Slipknot Vocialist To Join Anthrax

Slipknot is actually getting better. If you prefer their generic, cookie-cutter debut to something far more sophisticated, like Vol. 3, I pity you. It's not official yet either, and I doubt he will join, considering the high demand for a new Slipknot record and Stone Sour's busy touring schedule.

    A Perfect Circle reunion?

So if one of your favorite bands' albums catapulted to the top of the charts out of nowhere, you would cease to like them? That qualifies as mainstream. Such narrow-minded logic.

    Good tour names?

Symphony X isn't power metal, he's right. Um...I dunno. Sounds of the Underground? Shitty tour, but the name is kinda catchy.

Ben Koller (Converge) LOL @ anyone who said David Lombardo

    A Perfect Circle reunion?

Ah, the art of being an elitist internet cocksucker. Mainstream immediately means that there's no substance, right? Are you one of those kids who, if I gave you a Burzum album and locked you in a room for an hour, you'd return it with creamy goo smeared all over the cover? I hate those guys...
