yeah, honestly it's hard to say exactly where you should make the cuts, but i'd start by high-shelving your guitars to get rid of some of that nasty fizzy stuff. another thing i'd do is add some meat to your snare by either EQing up some of the body frequencies (somewhere between 200-500hz) or...

very gatsby's american dream-ish.... digging it. i love the mix stylistically. the only crit i have is the vocals seem too dominate the mix. personally, i'd bring them down like 2 or 2.5 db relative to e/thing else, just my 2 cents. phenomenal job though.

pretty cool. idk about that bass sound... sounds good in the heavier arrangements, but by itself, it's kinda obvious that it's a VI. if you have a bass, i'd say use that. i'll bet it would sound better. damn good job for an hrs work though

damn this is amazing. i already export vocal bounces to pitch in cubase with variaudio, but the pitching algorithm is mediocre at best. i didnt even know about this... man, presonus making some big moves

btw double mic'ing doesn't sound like doubling... i don't get that at all. also, DONT just move everything up a third. some parts will be completely out of key and sound like shit.

i like to time-correct/pitch the main track - with ALL the helpers muted and instruments down about 6-8dbs - until it's sounding REALLY solid before i do anything else (yes, i do this to "each syllable"). after that's done, i'll bring in each helper and work them individually. my preference is...
