Yeah the lead guitarist was being an absolute bitch about his solo parts. What made it to the final was edits of all these takes. I really have no interest in recreating the edits, so pick what sounds good to you.

This is an old, old project I was in. It was kind of a "just have fun" band that morphed into an AC/DC tribute then went defunct. This has already been released, but I figure you guys might have fun with it. I was never happy with the mix anyway. Real drums, no DI's. 30 tracks at 24bit, so...

I find the PR40 very bright and scooped-sounding on guitar cabs. Unusable by itself, but very cool when dual micing, very nice for lead tones.

I didn't want to post any unreleased material, so I used a snippet of the band messing around with "High and Dry".

I agree. I just got a Joly-Mod U87 clone I'm gonna try on the front head, or possibly in a kick tunnel.
