I'm just experimenting, reamping one of my songs and was just wondering if anyone had any helpful tips or things i should try. I'm working with a peavey 6505, maxon od808, mesa 4x12, a 57 and an at 4040.

I've never been in that situation, but on the kick track, is it necessary to have the hats bleeding through for the song? maybe put a small notch to even just reduce the hats a little bit on the kick track and maybe you'd be able to ease off the gate at some spots. might even create a little...

Thanks heaps! If your referring to the glitchy stuff at the start, all you do is play the part through, then get your scissor tool and start cutting it up. Then to do that stutter, you cut a sixteenth note (for example) and paste it back to back as many times as you want.

i checked the cpu bar before i made this thread and it was no where near maxing, thats why i was confused whether it would be the cpu usage. i just ended up downloading a different impulse loader instead of using space designer and it seems to have worked. thanks guys for your help!

So heres whats happening... I've started a session fine, I've gone about my song like usual, I've done the drums, tracked the rhythm guitars and bass, then when I'm half way through tracking my leads, i get a noticble latency. prior to this I've never had any latency issues while recording...
