For drums I'm using the Large Wooden Room Preset from the Samplicity's Bricasti M7 Impulse Response Library.

Yeah, right. Your guitar is equipped with a Tune-O-Matic-Bridge. So no springs! :D I just wrapped some tissue around the strings. Doesn't look super fresh but it does the job.

Nice tone and great playing! But something on your guitar is making some noise on stops. Could be the springs in your trem, if your're using one.

I've got the Shure srh940 (closed) and they're great. Another good pair of headphones you should consider are the Beyerdynamic 880 (semi open). But in the end, the best cans are the ones that work for you. So try them all and find your pair of headphones.
