If i remember correctly, the band doesn't even like Dance of december souls, so (thankfully) i guess they won't ever go back to anything like that. I hope they continue to move foward, like they always have.

Like both, but Katatonia is Katatonia.

He had struggled with life in general for so many years, maybe he just finally gave up. The fact that he made it till 48 is not really that bad considering his lifestyle. No shock here. RIP.

Sold heart kinda sounds like newer Anathema. It was nice, but understandebly a b-side, both because of the style and quality.

Mostly agree, but it simply does not look proffessional enough. It's like some total amateurs filmed something for å school project, and then someone with some actual moviemaking skills added a lot of cool effects to make it somewhat decent.

What i LOVE about this, is that they are really going for the Katatonia feeling this time around. Great! But it looks amateurish and a little random/rushed. Thumbs up still.

In addition to complaining, i might as well come up with a suggestion myself. It MIGHT be a bit of a stretch, but Madder Mortem, maybe? They are certainly dark, heavy, melodic and progressive. Albums out on Spotify. I think i'll suggest Eight ways as the album to check out first.

Why do you suggest stuff that sound like old Katatonia?

It is possibly the best so far. But its a close race between this and the previous three.

I don't see it like that. Theres less religious people in Scandinavia (that includes Sweden) than in most other countries, and the ones that do consider themselves religious are usually quite liberal still. But i don't really see a lot of people rejecting religious people. Maybe you are too...
