    CHRISTOPHER LEE for Bloodstock

This may seem a very strange thing to say, but read THIS I hope the site doesn't change before people have read the link. (If it has, the link says that Christopher Lee is due to appear on the new Rhapsody album, not only as Narrator, but as lead vocalist on one song. A lot of people want...

    Rage for Bloodstock 04

One of my favourite albums of last year was Rage's Unity and, according to early reports, the follow up, "Soundchaser" is meant to be even better. Read the review given by metalreviews.com here The current Rage lineup is amazing. Peavey Wagner's songwriting just seems to get better and better...

Sinner + Primal Fear for 04

In the early months of this year, there seemed to be a lot of speculation that Primal Fear were going to play Bloodstock 03. There was also speculation that Mat Sinner's other band, Sinner, would be playing as well. Unfortunately, neither band made it onto the final bill. I missed the first...

Iced Earth to headline what do u think?

I think Iced Earth would be a good choice for next year, but not as headliners. They're pretty good, but I don't find them all that exciting. Maybe things will be different with Ripper on board. I would far rathe see Dio or Manowar headlining.

    Future Venue

I like the current venue a lot, it's big enough to fit a decent sized crowd, yet still intimate. I think moving to a MUCH bigger venue would be a mistake as the intimacy would be lost and the signing sessions would be even more of a logistical nightmare for the organisers. I think the Assembly...

    Future Venue

This year's Bloodstock sold out and if the current demand trend continues, even more people will want to go next year. Do you think it will become necessary to change from the Assembly Rooms to a bigger venue? When do you think this will become necessary? Has anyone got any ideas for an...

    A Bit Of Variety

I reckon the festival should dedicate the second stage to the heavier music (black, death, doom) and the main stage to power metal, true metal, NWOBHM, lighter thrash, speed metal and classic metal.

    Dream Evil/ Falconer

The new vocalist had better be at least as good as Mathias. Is the new vocalist a baritone, like Mathias? Having a baritone on vocals made Falconer stand out from the crowd.

    (Plastic) Swords In The Wind

They should sell plastic swords in the lobby, they could even have official Bloodstock 04 Swords made for sale on the merchandise stand. I might take one next year and get it signed, LOL!

    Lordi for Bloodstock 2004

They've only release one album so far, but the second is due for release in Spring 2004. They've supported Nightwish before, so I was sorta hoping they would have been on this year's bill. They'd go down a storm at next year's festival.

    Lordi for Bloodstock 2004

I think Lordi would be a great band for next year's Bloodstock. They have never played in this country and have only played outside their native Finland a couple of times. In Finland they are HUGE. They won "Best Rock Act" at last year's Finnish Music Awards and had a number one last summer...

    Rhapsody For Bloodstock 04

I'd like to see Rhapsody next year, but not as a headliner.

    Nightwish Signing...

I think when it comes to the signings, everyone needs to realise that for most of the bigger bands there will be hundreds of people wanting to get stuff signed and meet the band. Next year, I'll have a bloodstock society pass, but I'll only get one thing signed by each band (Unless the queue...

    Paradise Lost my interest

I think Paradise Lost showed a real lack of judgement on Saturday. If they had stuck to the old stuff from when they were a proper metal band then they would have gone down a lot better, even with the snide comments from Nick Holmes. I thought Paradise Lost were probably the weakest band on...

    2004: bands wish list

I don't think Nightwish should play next year; I don't think ANY band should play two years in a row. If this was Wacken and the bill had room for 60+ bands then I wouldn't mind, but as it is I think all bands should have at least a one year gap between performances. Nightwish were very good on...
