    What if?

This time period is also Saxon's most stable, with Steamhammer records carefull management of the band expanding and pushing them out creatively in the right direction. More like Metalhead, please!

    New Vs Old

I prefer the more 'polished' versions on HMT, simply because it is so damn difficult to get hold of the original albums, but i still like the originals regardless. Classic Rock did a great job of remastering 'Saxon' and 'Power' btw...

    What if?

I think that Saxon HAVE changed, and for the better. They went through an identity crisis from the guitar synth's on Destiny to the Rock N Roll flavour of Forever Free, finally consolidating thier talent on all albums from Unleash The Beast.

    Saxon in Classic Rock Mag

I'm actually scottish myself, but have lived in the festering craphole that is Northampton for many years, before moving to Leeds and the Northern Film School... Been into Saxon since 1989. First album was Destiny...

    hey

Well, he likes some Iron Maiden stuff (mainly Somewhere In Time) principally due to the heavy use of keyboards and synth guitars. With Tom it would be a lo-o-ong uphill struggle. But one must try...

    hey

I work with a Belgian Director here at the Northern Film School in Leeds, an utter lunatic by the name of Tom Van DerVelpen. He spends most of his time listening to Vangelis, Jean Michele Jarre and other electronic stuff as opposed to 'that rock shit you listen to, mike...' :)

Who's going to Astoira gig ??

I'm also going to the Astoria gig. I'll be there wearing my Denim and Leather T-Shirt (or maybe the Power and The Glory one). Kinda a shame that Biff and Co cant play closer to home here in Leeds. Anyone else from the Leeds area travelling down?
