I predict that in a month or two the backlash will start. Seems like this album is getting a bit too much hyperbole around here while elsewhere I see more accurate reviews on the effort- which is very average at best. We shall see.

too many pointless solos. Enter tragedy and fear is the weakness gets interrupted by such solos.

heh. I'm in the camp that has never found a single In Flames release solid front to back but yet love the band and love a lot of their songs. ASOP is the only album i feel was truly cohesive and solid through and through even though it's not their best work and seemingly their most...

They've been doing a really good job curbing leaks these days eh? Before albums would come out a month in advance but now it's on a 1-2 week window at best.

Since i only have muddy leaks i can't really judge yet but so far i think the production is a bit too layered. Enter Tragedy would have been such a better song if it was a bit more simplistic. Good song either way.

So far i'm skeptical about this album. Deliver us and sounds of a playground fading were just blah. Enter Tragedy and A New Dawn are ok. But despite what some obviously too hardcore for hardcore kids say, i think Anders sounds great. His voice and melodic capabilities have improved tremendously.
