Like, I know the Cyhra album is not really all that deep. It's basically poppy power metal lite. But the melodies are great, and it's kind of just enjoyably shallow music. But man, I hate how the album just sorta gets boring in the second half. Jesper could do better.

He does a lot of background vocals on Lunar Strain through The Jester Race. If you want to hear him do a quick lead vocal unaccompanied, he does the strange vocal in the middle of "Lunar Strain" that doesn't sound like the rest of the song (starts at around 2:23).

This is a difficult question, because since In Flames changed their style so drastically over the decades, it's almost impossible to compare something like The Jester Race to Reroute to Remain. They're two completely different sounding albums that almost aren't even competing in the same...

I'm actually more looking forward to Jesper Stromblad's reunion with Ceremonial Oath, which will be playing festivals in the near future and recently completed their first rehearsal since the early Nineties I'm sure.
