yeah the snare is panned left a little. And I updated the dropbox file. it definitely was lacking a lot of bass I must of had it muted or something when I uploaded that. http://db.tt/SAR0CWWL

Yeah, I noticed the same thing. And i'm using the KRK rokit 5's

yeah everything seems way to compressed and lifeless. remember less can mean more.

Alright so I re-tracked the guitars with a slightly better tone. cleaned up the kick, changed the master, and this is the result. http://db.tt/ferDWYmi

i feel like i could improve my mix a lot more but don't know where to begin. please give me as much feedback and criticism as possible! :) btw i used an engl e530 for guitar tones, metal foundry for drums, and whatever bass amp head my bass player uses plugged direct in my interface...
