Been listening to the streaming for two days now. I have the special edition CD/DVD on the way from Europe. I think this is just an amazing album (or half album...together with Time II will be the whole album)!!! The more I listen, the more I hear which is exactly what I expect from Jari...

Great song! Mix of old and new is really good. Also like the mix on the solo! Like the video too. Perhaps the best Enska vid yet imo.

@ AetherJake great stuff!! I ran into your music somewhere else a few months ago too. Hope you get a label. If if not you should keep moving with Bandcamp or even PledgeMusic.

Allegeon: Formshifter Technical melodic deathmetal from Colorado USA. Great stuff with some amazing riffs on 8 string guitars. Good to hear 8 string work that is not all trying to copy Meshuggah these days. Next to pre-order Unsung Heroes myself!

Yeah very true. They just lost all momentum after Petri left. Good they did not keep trying to drag it out and leave a worse legacy. I wish I could have seen them live back in the good days.

I like them both for different reasons. On the the debut and Iron the songwriting on some of the songs is so amazing...it is pure genius!! This continues in a different way with Victory songs and From Afar and what is added are the orchestrations and more epic feeling. What I miss from the old...

Yeah, same here. Some bands are better off doing the same thing they did before. But I think looking at all Jari's stuff with Wintersun, Ensiferum, Arthemesia, and the old demos I am confident that this will be different and even better. Also looking forward to hearing the production on this...

I am very optimistic too. I actually think there will be moments that are even heavier and speedier than on the first album, but overall it will be a lot more epic and varied. Jari might be releasing these particular moments for a reason too.

Agreed. I like photo-realistic stuff, but make it something else... the face stuff is too trendy right now.
