Shadow Gallery - First Ever Live UK Show!!!

Thanks for sharing. I think it's safe to say that many Enchant fans are also SG fans. I've been a fan of both since I got Blueprint and Carved in Stone from Magna Carta records many many years ago. Although I'm a bit embarassed to say that I don't have the new SG disc yet.

Too true. When I first heard that song I said, "Oh my God, they're reading my mind!" LOL

    THRESHOLD on tour next week

Only 100 people for Threshold in Europe? That's a damn shame.

Bummer. They did a lot to promote prog rock and metal. Let's hope SPV keeps it going. :erk:

My yearly rant concerning no East Coast show...

We have a Clear Channel classic rock radio station in my town. The really sad thing is that even when they do have "all request" shows, the listeners call up and request the same old crap anyway. Maybe the corporate gurus really do know what the (majority) people want. Fortunately there are a...

My yearly rant concerning no East Coast show...

Speaking of web radio, I found a great station called Beyond Ear Candy that plays prog metal exclusively - some really great stuff. www.beyondearcandy.com There's also www.progradio.net but most of those stations are more prog rock oriented. :)

    Pictures from BARfest 2008

Awesome pix. Thanks so much for sharing those with us. I just love the emotion the guys show when playing, especially Doug. It reminds me a lot of Alex Lifeson. I'm really sorry I couldn't have been there.

Any "A Blueprint of the World" fan here?

Welcome. I think there are a lot of Threshold fans here too. Too bad about Mac leaving the band. The future of Threshold seems a bit uncertain right now. Enchant seems to be going strong though, so that's great.

Any "A Blueprint of the World" fan here?

Here, here. The bass is not a rhythm instrument. That's what drums are for. LOL. JK. I think it's a shame when great bass players can't be heard. That's always been one of my pet peeves with Dream Theater. John Myung is a great bass player, like Ed, but you can hardly ever hear him in the mix.

Sweet. Thanks for the back story, Ed. It's amazing what you guys can do with a home studio. I would have sworn it was a commercial studio recording. I guess that shows what pros you guys are and why we love the music so much. :notworthy:

    Haven't been here in ages.

Yeah, I bet it's part of their usual stage antics...kinda of like Lynyrd Skynyrd or .38 Special where the guitar players all line up on stage and head bang in unison. :)

Any "A Blueprint of the World" fan here?

Hence the title, Time Lost. But the album certainly doesn't sound like a bunch of demos. Does anyone know when they were recorded? With studio time being so expensive I don't imagine they would have done full recordings of so many songs to end up leaving so many of them on the cutting room...

Sweet pic. Is that from the Live at Last show or another one? I wish I could have gone to that show. Thank God we have the DVD.

Any "A Blueprint of the World" fan here?

Have you heard Time Lost? I was going to say that's the closest one to Blueprint. I believe the songs were written sometime between Blueprint and Wounded, but weren't used on Wounded. It's probably my second favorite Enchant album...after Blueprint, of course. :kickass:
