~A Prelude to Tragedy's 'Shadows of the Past' Internet Radio Debut

Steve, look on the bright side, ......... um....:erk:.......:Smug:.......Ok, there is no bright side but chance is on your side if that helps. If you do go down (not like that), just enjoy the weightlessnes, people pay a lot of money to go on that vomit comet that simulates weightlessnes. Think...

    Cover tunes :)

Actually, you are in luck... All of the vocal parts are in 4/4 except for "Follow men's eyes as they look to the skies....The" is in 3/4 and the next phrase starts 4/4 again with "shifting shafts of shining weave the fabric of their dreams" (great aliteration!) Otherwise it is 5/4 6/4...

    Cover tunes :)

On the real, I would love to hear a cover of my all-time favorite RUSH tune, "Jacob's Ladder". I never thought I would be able to single out my "favorite" RUSH song, but I still listen to it (and play along to it) and I have to say, it is "the one". It makes "Permanent Waves" their best EP. I...

Too Fat Polka (She's Too Fat For Me) composed by Ross MacLean, Arthur Richardson I think this  would warrant a ticket to Cali.

    RIP Gary Gygax

Take it easy Steve, I think you can still play the game. I remember when the guy who invented Chess died, it was heartwrenching. Wait, that was over 2000 years ago, nevermind. Now when the dude who invented Scattergories dies, watch the F out...

If Sorrell owned a car dealership...

I remember those Balls. I loved those things. Steve, your balls were the best! Too bad they froze up and fell off. Maybe you didn't use them enough and work them in well.

Your favorite song from Shadows of the Past?

Hmmm... oh yeah, that's right, keyboards... Well, you did a GREAT job of putting them behind the guitar. I will have to listen a bit more closely.

Your favorite song from Shadows of the Past?

There is always that defining moment on an EP that just makes the whole thing a 5 star affair. For me it comes about 4 minutes into "Drawn to the Past" with just an awesome guitar solo. Perfect note selection, perfect tempo, perfect timing. Definitely a great song! And that is a great 35...

Your favorite song from Shadows of the Past?

"With these hands" definitely, although it is MUCH different than I remember it. I have a very old copy of a very rough draft on CD (actually I have a few). You will see them on Antiques Roadshow one day. I liked those fills. I also liked heresy.............

    What's your gear?

shoot, almost forgot the details. I play pro mark 7A Jazz sticks. Use DW9000 pedals. I use sennheiser drum mics when necessary (hopefully in the future). Gibraltar Hardware (stands and such). Since I have really gotten into Golf lately, I have a bunch of that gear too...

    What's your gear?

My final setup is a Hybrid... I have an electro-acoustic set. Snare, and all cymbals are acoustic. All the rest are Hart Dynamics pro pads hooked up to a Roland TD-20 Brain. I also have a Roland SPD-11 which adds another 8 pads to the mix. I still have my full Pearl BLX which got me through a...
