got a kemper on the way. any suggestions for profiles for stoner/sludge/doom? free or paid :rock: also, does the kemper have a good fuzz or should I use a real pedal?

I'm mostly interested in the Orange pack but to get all this other stuff free would be cool too. How good are the Orange sims?

does your computer have a wireless card? is it turned off? do you have antivirus disabled? are you running a bunch of bullshit programs in the background? just trying to rule out if it's a hardware or software issue...

th2 is definitely one of the best amp sims I've ever used.

I think focusrite just doesn't have enough input impedance on their so called "inst" inputs. I had a saffire 6 and a scarlett 2i2 and they both clipped like crazy even with the gain at zero.

this is pretty much how I feel, but I slightly prefer B. both tones have aspects that I like.

question: is the tonal difference between using a resistive or reactive load really noticeable or is it more subtle?

you can use the preamp out of the 5153 mini without a cab plugged in. this has been confirmed by howard kaplan of EVH over at the gear page. You will still need a loadbox if you want poweramp saturation in your tone. Also, the mini sounds awesome at even bedroom volume, it has a very good master...

I ended up getting a komplete audio 6 because it has a 1 mohm input for guitar. I was tired of the scarlett clipping everything. I don't know for sure if it was the scarlet, but I don't have a loadbox anymore so I have no way of testing it on the komplete audio 6 as of yet...

a kind of harsh high end, clipping type sound. I got rid of the scarlett because it sucked.
