At first I was like "Yay! Some good stems so I can fresh up my mixing!". But they're actually so well played that you would have to go pants-on-head-stupid to get them to sound terrible so it didn't help that much :lol: I just threw on TSE 808, X50 and s-preshigh and it sounded good. Awesome...

Yeah, I think there's something wrong with how you're listening to it. The slide is on the right and the guitars sound stereo to me. Maybe you've got something messed up in your soundcard's settings? If it's got an internal mixer or something, check that.

I find slip editing vocals to be pretty easy, since there's usually clear spaces between words. Just cut between words and move each one to the right place? I guess you might have to stretch some words if the singer REALLY sucks.

If you always edit 2 ms after the grid, and you don't have any midi stuff going on, isn't that practically the same as editing right to the grid? You just move the "grid" 2 ms later? Or did you mean "something like 2 ms, not that accurately" or something?

What drivers are you using? Sometimes I can get sound out of both of them, but sometimes if I go use something else and go to Reaper, it won't work until I shut that other thing off (so it can have the soundcard all for itself).

I actually like this pretty much, although I'm usually not a fan of black metal. I hate the whole "Hey let's do real shitty sounding stuff, it's more real" thing some of them do. But I really like this, good tones but still vibey and not at all the modern squeky clean production. Fits the music...

Damn that sounds awesome. My first reaction was that it's sort of muddy, but the clarity is actually there. Cloudy is the word maybe? I dunno, sounds great anyway.

Could you buy used? You could save a lot that way.
