dude! no need for the aggression, I'm a trained sound engineer, i work in a semi-pro studio, i know my ears and my speakers. There is no noise, have you even tried listening to it on anything other than your home system?

cool. i forgot i'm using PT so the VST ones are out, i think its gonna be drumagog, but i was thinking its for reinforcement and kick replacement so variation is really not the thing i'm looking for, so why use bfd... bfd automatically varies every hit! I want the same sample each time...

the point is as follows; a duplication within a DAW is indentical... an identical performance is being sampled by the soundcard at 44100 (or whatever rate your at) times a second so the waveform that is created is far from identical... it may sound identical to you but your easrs are prolly not...

dude I can't hear anything, but the mix is well hot, i've had to turn my speakers right down, maybe your overloading the output stage of whatever your monitoring on?!?! maybe try pushing the limiter less, as the mix is well hot. wicked tune too.

Which drum replacement tool do you guys recommend, I have used sound replacer and find it a bit basic! Has anyone used drumagog or TL's Drum Rehab, I have BFD so drumagog looks good for me... Any comments on either would be cool, cheers Fionn

i think it sounds well nice, fucking ENGL rock, once thing I will say is that guitar tone is so subjective if it sounds good it sounds good, as long as it dosn't soak up your mix then... also one song may sound cool on its own but you have to reference it with other songs you may find your tone...

yeah it has I realised after i mixed it that I had copied the eq from my over heads to the room mics... duh! i only meant to copy the plugin not the settings, so the room mic channel has all the low mids and low end removed, its pretty heavily compressed too. I agree about the snare, i feel it...

all the metal tracks are bfd. i haven't got any of the expansion packs yet. it sounds preety shit hot if you ask me well worth it. easier than hiring a fucking drummer. and pretty convincing!
