Same here, i had all Expansions and cymbal wise TMF sounds the best! I was hoping to get that kind of sound in the bob rock expansion, the shells sound good but the cymbals MEH. stoked to see what the next SDX will be

by the way, the drums sound great again, is it still SSD4+expansions?

for me it's the AXE FX and THERMIONIK again, best note definition and that "jumpy feel" on the low open string!

are these one shots?

well, the big problem with EZ2 is the mixer and the limited outputs. the provided mixing tools simply suck and are extremely limited. if you want to mix it in the DAW the outputs are also very limited so yeah, you have to like how it sounds out of the box otherwise you won't be happy with EZ2...

for me it works only if i turn off power amp simulation, 64 or 32 samples does not make a difference at all. i am using an RME interfac e which has pretty great drivers and my PC is pretty good also but on 32/64 samples one instance of thermionik in an empty project takes up to 80% of the ASIO...

What i really like about Thermionik is that it models the amps as they are, there are no extra parameteres like in the AXE FX or HELIX that basically do not really anything but either make everything darker or brighter ;) I have tried the demo and it sounds pretty damn good, however the CPU...

standalone SDX expansions, so we do not have to spemt 300bucks for their shitty SD3 core library

it does indeed sound nice man no doubt, but in general you know that something is not right if you have to layer 4+ kicks to make it sound any decent, just my 2c. btw. the "Djent Style" was the only preset i thought sounded nice to begin with
