Man, I don't really know. I listen to alot of as blood runs black and dahlia, so maybe something like what they do? Not sure exactly lol, Im not much of a vocalist. Maybe write lyrics themed around your inner demons getting the best of you. I will work on some too

It sounds like the gate is kicking in too early and there's unreal pauses,it just doesn't sound natural. There's also something about it, It sounds like its missing some balls lol. Maybe try using a different combination of amps to get a more beefy sound.

There's no bass on it yet, so don't nag me bout that lol. I am trying to get my vocals to sit in the mix better and just sound natural, like its supposed to be part of the song. They just stick out a little bit and no matter what I adjust, it just dosen't sound right lol. Can anybody help me...

Double tracking vocals helped a lot. I cant really make em sit well though. Seems like i got a long way to go. Vocals aren't pitched down, that's just how I sound I guess lol. Never been a screamer before so I'm not even sure if I'm doing it correctly but I'm just trying to get through with it.

yeah pretty much what everyone else said. Maybe use a brighter snare with less reverb on it, to whoofy for me.
