    Alexi passed away

She could do, but I don't think she is singing or involved with music anymore. Besides, who would she get to do all the lead guitars?

    Alexi passed away

One of my friends who lives in Espoo and is friends with Alexi told me he spoke to him just before Christmas and he seemed okay and didn't mention he wasn't well.

    Alexi passed away

Been a fan since 1997, met Alexi and Kimberly at Tavastia Club in 1997 chatted for a while, they were both very friendly. Saw Bodom a few times over the years, always very tight live band and even saw Sinergy in 2002 supporting Dark Tranquillity in London. So many great albums, hard to pick just...

The Rhymes of the Mountain (Lyrics Video)

It's YT, compressed and shitty audio. How you can suggest anything sonically is beyond me. Let's wait for the CD before we comment on the sound?

    How did you discover Nightwish?

It was around 1997 or 1998, a certain Finnish music journalist (MO) was raving to me about this new band called Nightwish. He sent me the AAF CD and I was pretty much hooked. I have converted a few people., my ex-wife and a couple of her friends, along with my current girlfriend and her 15 year...

    "Élan" single

Aren't most NW songs straight forward and repetitive? Sure there are many that are, but that is the rule rather than exception. I really like both songs, got the 3CD/!0" silver ordered, plus the Japanese 2CD/DVD can't wait.

    "Élan" single

I bought the EP from iTunes yesterday, something I rarely if ever do. Élan is a straight forward melodic rock songs, not immediate at all, repeated listening reveal a lot more. After a few plays I'm loving it, Floor sounds great. Sounds nothing like Lacuna Coil, whoever said Floor was unique...

    Cidadel - The New Album

I got mine last week and it's every bit as good as the debut. The CD came in digipack format, looks and feels very cheap though. I also got the vinyl, which at $41 was not cheap. However is is NOT 180g, no gatefold sleeve and at 48 mins should have been a 2 record set for optimum sound quality...

What is your favorite Kalmah album?

While I don't really hear any similarities to Bodom, IMO Kalmah's entire catalogue is far stronger than Bodom's. If you like those two, I'd suggest The Black Waltz, it's my fave Kalmah.

So, what do you think about Universal!?

What does 'like back' mean? Please don't copy the poor English of some whose it is native tongue.

    Trying to contact Vintersorg

Well done mate, great interview, with some intriguing questions.

Your thoughts on the new album

It's really not up to Kalmah where they tour. If you live in Ireland, then it's up to a promoter from Ireland, to book gigs and then offer them to the band to play.

    The new full Vintersorg video

Killer stuff, album was out in Australia (iTunes) on 27th of June, so enjoying it and waiting for my CD to arrive.
