I think it's a very nice chance for OL to get to play to people who maybe haven't heard them before. Personally, I'd rate OL way over Metallica, but you can't deny their influence on a lot of metal, and their first few CD's are still pretty good today. And you definitely can't deny their mass...

I have been to Bethlehem, and it's a wonderful place. But as far as I understood, only tourists and palestinians are allowed to enter the west bank, or Israeli with special permits, so I doubt it'd be easy to get to play a concert there.

I always wonder how festivals can be so cheap (comparatively), when some shows with one big band are incredibly expensive. Metallica played five (or six) sold out gigs in Copenhagen in a row last year, and I can't remember the exact cost, but just that it was way beyond what I was willing to pay...
